My work focuses on supporting mathematics instruction across systems through leadership, implementation, and professional learning. A thread that runs through all of it: how do leaders create the conditions for ambitious mathematics teaching to actually happen — and sustain — across a system?

District Leadership

PK–12 mathematics strategy and vision, Guilford County Schools (2022–present), high-quality instructional materials adoption and implementation support, instructional coaching systems and teacher leader development, and AI-assisted coaching research in partnership with Harvard.

Research & Scholarship

Doctoral dissertation exploring how secondary mathematics teachers anticipate and respond to student thinking (UNC-Greensboro, 2024). Published in Investigations in Mathematics Learning and Mathematics Teacher: Learning & Teaching PK–12. Co-host of the Amplifying Voices Podcast through NC²ML. Invited speaker at the IES Mathematics Summit, Council of Great City Schools, and National Implementation Research Network.
